New, excited, and HUNGRY
Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! My name is Mondre, I'm 25 living in DFW (Texas) and have experience in many fields but never would've imagined I'd be interested in investing in Real Estate. Somewhat a late bloomer, I am working on obtaining my B.S. in Psych and accomplishing F.I.R.E. I had planned on going into Med school but after a looong period of self-reflection, I think this route is more in line with other goals I have for myself. I am excited to be here and to learn from you all and this incredible website!
Currently, I have the knowledge of a kindergartener when it comes to real estate but that just means I am open to all tips and feedback and willing to share whatever I can to help other kindergartners (lol). I would like to use this year to learn, learn, and LEARN whilst building my credit and paying off debt and hopefully by this time next year be ready to purchase my first property. Happy to be here. Hi Mondre -- Welcome to BP. It's an awesome resource to have in your tool built. Make use of the free webinars the site offers on a weekly basis as they are a good learning tool. Also the BP podcast and Millennial Real Estate Investor podcast are two other great resources where you can learn about/from the experiences of others. Lastly, check the Network tab to see if there are any investor meet ups happening in our area (or start your own) so you can find people in your area. Best of luck on your journey!
