Expanding in the Music City

Hello BP. I have been registered for the site for a few weeks now. After scoping things out and seeing what the site was all about i decided to make my profile and get involved. This site is full of knowledge. I have to say i have learned a lot just in two weeks of keeping up with posts.

Last summer i decided to follow my heart and interest in real estate and get started. While working a full time job i obtained my State of TN real estate license in October of 2012. Since then i have joined a local real estate company.

Being a REALTOR is not the only avenue i want to get into. I also want to get into the investment side of what real estate has to offer. I am not sure what type of niche i want to get into just yet.

I am enrolled in a Fortune Builder workshop that is 3 days in Nashville coming up in January. I have also joined the local Middle TN REI group and have signed up for several classes coming up in the near future.

I feel like i am taking the correct path. Anything i am missing or suggestions?

Any comments on how having a real estate license is valuable in the real estate investing arena?
