From Switzerland to California

I am currently in LA and doing some research on REI. Me any my wife love California and want to move here. I've saved a few 100k and would love to fix and flip. As a selfmade Business Owner who has built everything from zero i want do get educated before i invest in anything. Where can i meet like minded people and learn from them?
