1st purchase to house hack

Hello all,

Finally, I am purchasing my first home. I am currently in escrow. I used a down payment assistance and will house hack to help pay for the mortgage. Also I received private funds to help cover majority of the down payment/closing costs. With little cash out of pocket I was able to get into this property in an appreciating area of the city. I live in Ventura County, Oxnard to be exact.

Definitely a learning experience as well as nerve wracking. It is definitely different from just reading or listening to a podcast. My next move is to touch up the property, live in it for a couple years, then either rent it or hopefully be able to BRRRR it to then purchase a rental and rinse and repeat.

I feel I am over my head doing this, looking forward to the learning.

Best regards.
