Greetings Chicago BP Family!

Hello everybody, I am a hungry beginner in the Real Estate industry from #Chicago and I am seeking to learn and connect with people in Chicago who are skilled and experienced in their respective fields (such as Agents, Investors, Contractors, and more). My focus is to acquire my first multifamily rental property.

I just wanted to briefly introduce myself to see who is all from Chicago and if you can leave a response stating (1) your profession, (2) how long you've been in the game and (3) one solid piece of advice you'd want to give a newbie.

Much gratitude and looking forward to learning and connecting from you all!

-Brandon

@Brandon Smith

Welcome to BP. Keep learning. There are many sources for knowledge in addition to BP. There are some REIA meetings you should attend. CCIA - They meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month in Lombard. The speakers are always selling something. Just go for education and networking. Each meeting people present deals they are selling, looking for partners, looking for money, etc. WCRT - They meet the first Thursday of every month in Elmhurst. No selling from speakers, just information given. Of course the meetings are all virtual at this time. Hopefully in the next month or two it will go back to face to face. Don't forget podcast. They are a great resource of education.

I’m a buy n hold investor, but I do a few flips each year as well.

Let me know if I can help.
