Single Family or multifamily?

Question

Hello everyone. I'm a 20 year old man who is interested on learning and investing in real state. I'm thinking about purchasing my first property in the next couple of months and starting with buy and holding small properties. But i'm wondering if i should purchase a single family or multifamily home. I would like to hear some advices from people that have had experience with any of these properties and tell me some pros and cons of these ones. Thank you.
