Hey everyone, I'm finally a member after lurking for a while. These forums are great and I've been getting a lot of info already while I've been getting my first rental home ready. My brother and I purchased the home through a closed bid tax sale in August and feel like I'm almost ready for renting it out. It's a two bed room single family home that has needed quite a bit of work, thankfully we can do a lot of it ourselves with the exception of foundation work. I look forward to learning a lot and reading up on my present issues of how to claim this for taxes. Look forward to meeting many folks out there as well.
