Ready To Dive In: Need Guidance

It’s time I quit lurking and actually take a plunge to get out of the rat race. I’m ready to jump in and start investing in real estate, but despite my research I think I could benefit from having a mentor. How did you find your first mentor? Any suggestions you might be able to share? Any books you would recommend I add to my list? I can’t stop reading! That’s the problem... I need to stop reading and actually put into action. Thank you for reading!

A good way to find a mentor is to go to real estate investor meet ups. Also, find a real estate investor friendly agent. You also need to know what strategy you are leaning towards? Owner occupied FHA? Or duplex or single family or what? Need to know where you might get your equity from. Hope that helps!
