Newbie from New York, NY

Hey guys, I've been following BiggerPockets for a while and finally decided to take the leap, sign up, and introduce myself on the forums. I'm currently in my final year in university, studying finance and economics. I actually signed a full-time offer with a bank for the next 2 years, but my true passion is admittedly in real estate (hence my interest in this website!).

I acknowledge that I am young and still completely lack the knowledge and experience to succeed in this industry, but that's exactly why I'm here. I might as well start as early as I can.

My interests lie primarily with real estate development, and I realize that this might be particularly difficult in New York. Nonetheless, I would still love to learn.
