Hello BiggerPockets! I started getting into RE investing over the past 6 months (have a 4 unit, SFR, and am closing on sober living facility). Focusing on Colorado Springs and a little on Denver.
Primarily looking for buy and hold multifamily properties and just launched my first direct mail campaign.
I haven’t done as good of a job of networking as I should. While I’m an experienced businessman, I definitely need to connect with experienced people in real estate
This is such a great community. Looking forward to being a part of it!

Welcome to the forums Leo, I'm intrigued by the idea of a sober living facility, is that in The Springs or Denver?

Welcome to Bigger Pockets!
This is a great place to learn and network. A lot of forum members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.
Discounts on some products and services are offered to BP members: https://www.biggerpockets.com/perks/pro
If you haven’t been to it already, you might want to check out the BP blog: https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/
The site has quite a few tools that can be helpful for new members. I like the search features: https://www.biggerpockets.com/search

Thanks @Daniel Haberkost! It's in Denver. From what I gather, there is definitely a need in the Springs. I'm also not the operator. Purchasing the property and renting it back under an extended lease.

Hi Leo,
I am a real estate agent and flipper in the Denver metro area. I would love to hear more about the sober living projects. I had a friend back in the day that got involved in sober living and found it to be lucrative as well as spiritually uplifting.

Hi, welcome.
I've been in RE for two years and I primarily invest in the East Coast for buy and holds but I have great contacts with investor friendly realtors and lenders out in Colorado Springs. Please reach out if you're looking for

Welcome. This is a great place to be. I vaguely remember one of the podcasts had a guest that invested in group homes. It appears to be a fairly secure niche. Most group homes have some kind of funding or government grants to operate.
