Hello BP from New Jersey

Hello all at BP, my name is Andrew and I am a newbie just dropping in to introduce myself. I live in the northwestern portion of New Jersey, where if you can still believe it, small towns and farmland can be found. My full time employment is as a law enforcement officer, but I am looking to start investing in real estate. The covid19 pandemic has caused me to take a deep dive in to looking at all aspects of my finances and motived me to pursue financial freedom. I have spent countless hours reading through forums, listening to audio books and webinars to at least not blindly begin this journey. Of course there is a lot to learn as with anything, but I hope with this first post it will be a step in the right direction. I have secured private money and I am interested in buy and hold properties in the vicinity of where I live. The BRRRR strategy is most appealing, though I am will to work with others in joint ventures to provide a little sweat equity to learn some valuable lessons. Agents, lenders, contractors, and other investors I look forward to speaking with you and any contribution or insight will be much appreciated.

To future endeavors, partnerships, and most of all new friends!
