Introduction to Brian Reid

Brian Reid
Posted

Hello all,

I am from the Pittsburgh area where I am still in college working on my junior year at a mechanical engineering degree. I have found an interest in real estate investing in the past few months and found the BiggerPockets real estate podcast. Their interviews and personal experiences have inspired me to pursue real estate investing. I do not have the capital to begin investing in BRRR deals or longterm rentals. Because of low capital, I have looked into wholesaling a great deal. Please feel free to connect with me and direct message me about anything!

Thank you,

Brian Reid

@Brian Reid I'd focus on studying up as much as you can until you graduate, and plan on house hacking once you are done with school. I bought my first house hack the summer after I graduated for about 6k out of pocket using an FHA loan and 6% seller assist. Worked part time all through school to be able to save up enough for a down payment. Definitely the way to go getting started. Opens up doors to begin saving and building.
