Hello my name is Nicholas Edwards, and I am a newbie to real estate investing. I currently work as a Chemist creating coatings for industrial equipment. I am new to real estate so I am starting with learning the acronyms that are used in real estate. I am currently reading BRRR and I will follow that up with " Estimating Rehab Costs" and "Rental Property Investing". If someone has another book that I should look into please let me know.
My real estate goal is to primarily rehab and rent properties and I plan to reach this goal in 8 to 12 years. This path will starts when I purchase my first rental property and it will be a great hands on learning experience working with a PM, contractors, and tenants.
I was introduced to BiggerPockets by another member. I was told that BiggerPockets has a wealthy knowledge and that it can help grow my network. I hope to meet and work with as many people as possible in the BiggerPockets community.
