New rental investor with questions

Posted

My name is Jordan Bloomingdale and I just created my account on 08/15/2020. I just would like some insight on how to begin my journey. I have a VA loan from the military and was wondering if that would be good to use. also would like to use if for acquiring a property I can rent out to multiple tenants in the San Diego area. Any info would be helpful, thanks.

@Jordan Bloomingdale that is fantastic! Utilizing a VA loan is such a great opportunity. With the VA loan, I love the house hacking strategy. You can get into a multi-family property, live in one unit and rent out the others and live for free or very minimally. All the while gaining equity in your property and riding the San Diego appreciation. You are well suited to take advantage of a great opportunity! I will shoot you a message so check your inbox for that and I can try to answer any questions you have.
