I've recently gotten the opportunity to start a business with a partner of mine, It's a bit off-topic because its not really related to Real Estate. But i know that people in this industry that actually succeed do so by treating their portfolio as a business. So my question to BR is for any of you who have ever started a business what advice would you give someone like myself?

I founded a law firm in 2013 and ran it until I retired in 2019.  Had up to 12 employees.  My advice is: have a sales strategy.  The rest is just details.
