Hello everyone,

My name is Stephen. I'm a heavy equipment operator working for my father's sewer and watermain company. I'm looking to get into real estate investing to create a more passive income and hopefully work less as a result.

I live in Georgetown, Ontario Canada, which is about a half hour west of Toronto. I've owned a house there for the past 3 years. Only recently tried renting out the spare bedrooms I have but I really don't like living with other people.

I'm looking to invest in single family rental properties mostly but want to learn about it all. Multi family properties, international real estate, short-term bnb rentals to name a few.

I'm really interested in the blue mountain Collingwood area, north of Toronto. Also interested in these one euro homes I've seen on the news in Italy and less expensive homes in Thailand. International real estate is a long term goal however and for now my focus is on buying my first investment property in Ontario.
