Hi BP community, I just joined after listening to numerous podcasts and reading BRRRR. To my embarrassment I work professionally in real estate development but haven't done any personal real estate investments other than my primary residences. My background is in both commercial construction and development. I think I'm the typical example of someone in my industry who has spent too much time being an employee rather than prioritizing the the effort to be my own boss.

I'm looking forward to learning more from you all here and hoping to contribute anything that I can.

My personal interests other than real estate are cycling, travel, and watches!

Welcome @Mario Lopez! No embarrassment warranted. I grew up in a real estate household (Dad was a broker for 30 years) and I even worked in the business as a teenager.

It still took me 10+ years into a corporate career to start investing in real estate. Now i’m a full time investor. There’s hope for all of it and it’s never too late!
