Hi! I'm new here, still digging in to the forums in bite-sized chunks. Very impressed with the level of experience and professionalism here at Bigger Pockets and excited to network!
Tidbits about me: I've been a managing broker since 1999 specializing in residential and multi family real estate and investments in Bellingham. I've built a global referral business and do (well, did prior to Covid) a lot of cross-border business with our neighbors in Canada.
I'm originally from Anchorage, Alaska; I love to ski, boat, fish and crab in the San Juan Islands, I have a huge passion for travel, my husband is from the Netherlands, we travel to Europe as often as we can. Our 5 year goal is to live on a boat and circumnavigate the globe while trolling for fish along the way. :D
Professionally, I spent the majority of my career refining my skills at a luxury boutique brokerage here in Bellingham. In 2013 I started searching for a brokerage model that provided more technology to the agents, that's when I discovered eXp. I joined eXp as agent #337, started out as an agent then grew into different roles with the company. My husband soon joined me; he left his 20 year career at Microsoft to become COO at eXp World Holdings. We spent 6 amazing years with the company, helping them grow to over 30k agents.We had an absolute blast.
We left eXp right when Covid hit to join Real, a national brokerage located in 21 states. We have a passion for building businesses and aligning ourselves with amazing people that share the same energy.
