New Investors in DFW area

Hello BiggerPockets,

My friend Olek and I are looking to enter the DFW market with our first purchse. We are interested in 2-4 unit properties in $200-350k range. Ideally we would like to find a rental property with opportunities for value add. Our goal is to hold the property for the long-term.

For the past year, we have been educating ourselves through books and podcast and we are ready to take the next step! We are both out of state, one being on east and the other on west coast. We are new to the area and are currently exploring Dallas and its neighborhoods.

We would love to connect with an agent and/or a property manager in the area. We are also interested in meeting other investors and real estate professionals from DFW area.

Thanks!
