Is it true that those who can't do, do real estate?

Hello! My name is Lanesha in Indianapolis, IN and I'm new to this world in real estate! I stumbled across real estate investing when I was reading "Smart Women Finish Rich" by David Bach and have been intrigued ever since! Excited to learn more and meet some awesome people and eventually be able to mentor someone else. I'm interested in owning rental properties and air BnBs. Definitely start making contacts with lenders.  I found small local banks and credit unions are the easiest to work with and you get the best rates. I used private lenders to scale my business and then refinanced them out.

I own a number of rental properties which is part of my retirement plan and in the long run will create generational wealth for my family.  My next investment will be a vacation rental in the panhandle of Florida.  I still work my W-2.  The tax benefits of owning real estate is tremendous.  I’m from the Chicagoland market and invest in the north and northwest suburbs.
