Starting out in Madison Wisconsin!

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to the real estate investing arena, but am looking to start dedicating a lot more time to it. This has been an intellectual passion of mine for years and I've devoured every form of media available on the subject of real estate; now it's time for action!

I've been working in Healthcare IT where I've acted as project manager for several multi-million dollar installs, but I'm realizing this is not the career path for me. I'm looking to make a change in a BIG way and am now preparing to make the jump into real estate investing full-time.

I'd love to meet some mentors who've been in the Madison market and are willing to chat about their experiences here, in any niche of real estate. My plan is to start out wholesaling, gradually get into rehabbing, and build a portfolio of passive-income properties over time.
