Hi All,
I'm brand new to real estate investing.
By day, I'm a learning/visual designer, music composer, and some front-end web development.
I'm looking to get out of the rat-race through real estate investing. I wish to start with my first couple of properties by house hacking. I figure if I can live cheaply enough, I might be able to recover the downpayment from my first househack after a year, then put it towards a second. Netting me 6-8 doors in a couple of years.
From there, it's like I'm a kid in a candy store, so many incredible options! Some that really interest me are BRRRR projects, House Flipping, and Commercial/Retail spaces. I know I'll need to focus, find my lane, and master it. However, I just love the fact there is so much variety, I want to take time to really find the thing I most passionate about.
My 10-year or less goal is to cover 100% of monthly expenses with passive income.
