Property insurance company recommendations

Frank Martino
Posted

Hi everyone, I am new to the site. Anyone have good recommendations on property insurance companies, I have properties in Georgia, Indiana and Mississippi.  The company I am using recommended through roofstock is terrible (cost wise).  Any suggestions or tools someone can share to find better and cheaper?

Frank,

I recommend using an independent insurance agent that has access to a large amount of carriers to be able to find you the most competitive rate, is able to write all sorts of properties (SFH, Multifamily, Condos, Commercial, Fix and Flips, Vacant, etc.), has experience working with RE investors, and is knowledgeable on what coverages you need based on your strategy and goals. Good luck with your search for an insurance agent.
