Intro from Central North Carolina
Hey BP, my name is Martrisha! I am a scrappy entrepreneur in central NC. I'm also a wife and mom to 4. I have a goal to purchase at least 2 rental properties in 2021. Real estate has always been an interest of mine. I passed the prelicensing course and almost became a real estate agent 14 years ago but life circumstances and fear pushed me to choose security over freedom at that point.
In March 2020 I partnered with my brother to start our family-owned and operated company specializing in windows, doors, vinyl siding, and deck installations. Around that same time, I found the Bigger Pockets podcast. Listening to it regularly and then joining here to learn more. I've gained a lot of clarity towards setting goals for our business in the next year, which include expanding our remodeling services and purchasing properties to rehab - both for the construction experience and the investment/wealth building.
I'm looking forward to connecting with other BP dreamers & do-ers as we do this thing!
