Newbie Investor Says Hello!
Hello everyone!
My husband got me a BiggerPockets Pro account for the Holidays because I’ve been so fired up about investing in real estate!
We own and live in a duplex in Lewisburg, PA (our dream town) and have a vision of owning many properties here in this area. I get that by limiting to one market we’re sort of putting our eggs in one basket, and probably extending the timeline since good deals will be harder to find. But we just love this town so much we want to own all the unique and beautiful homes here.
Because we live in a less populated area (Harrisburg about an hour away) it’s hard to find meetups to network and make friends. I am anxiously hoping to find a mentor who can help rapidly increase my education. It very much feels like a “seize the moment” time in history and I’m just catching up to where I wanna go!
How did you all get started in finding someone to work with and learn from?

I’m just over here in Harrisburg. If you need anything, reach out. Lewisburg is a cool spot. Don’t have a scarcity mindset. Deals are out there. Just create a funnel and you’ll have a lot of deals to look at. If you tell yourself it will take a long time to buy rentals, it will. If you believe you can buy 20 this year, you will.
