Atlanta Newbie Investor Intro

Jacari Boboye
Posted

Hi everyone,

My name is Jacari and I am newbie investor looking to get started this year!

I’ve been listening to BP and reading through the forums actively for some years now and its a great feeling to finally be in a position to get started.

I am located in the Atlanta, GA area and have been following the market closely as of late. One of my short term goals for this year is to purchase a mildly distressed property and increase its value through renovations.

I would love to connect with anyone in the area that has experience investing as well as general contractors experienced in home renovations!

Looking forward to continuing in learning from all the folks here!

Cari

Hey @Jacari Boboye, welcome to the BP community!

Congrats on finally being in a position to get started! I bet that is a great feeling to be ready to jump in after years of just watching. So, time to take some action!

Are you looking to live in this first property or just purchase as an investment? And where are you looking? All over the Atlanta MSA or in a specific area?

Atlanta is quite a complex market so it's good that you have been observing it for some time now. That will definitely give you an advantage over most beginners. However, if you have any questions or just want to chat about the market, investing, etc.; shoot me a message anytime!
