New to the area - Johnson City NY
Lots of firsts here for me. I have been a browsing member of BP for a while, but this is my first post. I just moved here to Johnson City NY from the west coast. And I have been a renter all my life, and I am buying my first home at the age of... over 40. I hope it's not too late to begin my RE investing career.
I am looking to connect with people here on BP in the area. Are meetups still a thing?

Welcome to the site Andrew! Happy to have you here. Congrats on your move to Johnson City! And don't worry: as I am sure many people could attest to, it's never too late to begin your REI journey. If you want a tree, the two best options to plant it was 20 years ago, or today - so why not start today.
I definitely recommend searching for local/virtual meetups by your area - check around the forums if there is one! Wishing you the best of luck moving forward. Cheers
