Hey, everyone! I spend the majority of my life plugged into spreadsheets, copying and pasting information while life passes me by. I have a good job that pays very well, and I'm grateful for that, but there's got to be a better way to earn a lot of money. I woke up this morning and realized "I need to get going in real estate!". The problem is I have no idea where to start... 2 years ago I found myself longing to buy my first home. During the searching process I came to the conclusion that I love looking at properties and crunching numbers. I did buy my first house (that I currently live in) and closed on it last December. All in all - I'm so new to this and am totally overwhelmed. Where do I start?! I'd greatly appreciate some input and direction. Thanks in advance.

@Jason Duckett BP is a great resource and I have been a member since 2009.

When I first started, I was also in your shoes of not knowing where to start and feeling really overwhelmed.

I just bought a 1,000 unit apartment complex and what has guided me over the years is to get really clear on my "WHY" or my purpose.

Here is a link that you might find helpful, where I quit my job to pursue real estate 100%.

I quit my CPA Job to buy Large Apartment Buildings

In my opinion, get really clear on your WHY as it will give you the "juice" to keep you moving forward.

Good luck!!
