RE Newbie from NYC!
Hello BP community!
I'm super excited to be here! My name is Samantha Lewis, I'm 26 years old from Brooklyn, NY. I've been working in digital marketing for about 4 years now am eager to start investing in RE once I save cash reserves & money for a down payment. I've read (almost) all of the REI books, listen to podcasts every single day, attend webinars, etc. I'm still in the learning phase while getting my personal finances in order.
In terms of RE my goal is to be in a position to buy in the next 12 - 18 months. Of course, the market in NYC is crazy expensive so I'm open to investing out-of-state if the numbers make sense!
Overall, my long-term personal goal and the reason I'm here is to have financial independence & "retire early". I want the freedom to live my life!
