New member in Southwest, Ohio
Hey fellow BPers!
I've been scouring BiggerPockets for awhile and finally felt it was time to get more involved and contribute.
I grew up in Kentucky (#BBN) and recently moved to Ohio. I'm a 2009 grad of Northern Kentucky University and currently work at Wright-Patterson AFB and am a member of the Air Force Reserve. Most of all, I'm a husband and dad!
My partner and I have one deal currently in progress. For this, we served as private lenders for the rehab of another investor's deal. The plan is to utilize this capital to do our own first flip. Unfortunately that deal doesn't close until Feb. 2014. Until then, I'm expanding my knowledge of REI and my understanding of the Cincinnati market through research and networking.
Our intended initial focus will be in capital creation through SFR flipping in order to become cash buyers in the future. The experience and resources obtained will help develop our long term mixed strategy of buy/hold of SFRs and multi-units.
That's probably a little too much info for starters, but I really am pumped about the possibilities within REI and the community and resources provided at BiggerPockets!
