Newbie from West by God Virginia!
Hey all!
Just signed up today! Listened to a few podcasts and knew I had to come here and sign up.
I am 26 years old and just starting out. I own and run a small motorcycle accessories store and have since 2006. I also race motocross. I will graduate from Marshall University with a Bachelors in Management Information Systems in May.
As far as why I'm here...there are several reasons.
1) I've don't want to work for anyone. My parents were small business owners, and so am I. Although being self-employed is usually more work and responsibility, the freedom is nice and you feel better when you are working for yourself. I want that freedom.
2) I want some financial security and to build TRUE WEALTH.
3) I don't want to get in a 9-5 grind and wake up in 30 years wondering where my life went. I want to experience new things and tackle new problems everyday.
I'm here to make some friends and learn everything I possibly can. I'm starved!
