Hi everyone!
My name is Joe DeMonte & I live in Orange County, Ca. I am originally from Chicago, Il but moved to sunny SoCal in 2008.
I'm completely new to REI, but have always been interested in investing for quite some time now. Time to JUMP IN & get moving!
I am currently in the construction and engineering field. I am an Electrical CAD / BIM Coordinator (draw & design large scale projects in 3D and coordinate them before they are constructed). I have a background in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
I plan on getting proactive about purchasing my first investment property (triplex) by March 2014 & Start investing in RE Notes by January 2014.
Im soaking up information from the BP website like a dry sponge! :D

Thanks Joshua Dorkin & @brandonturner for creating such an interactive website for us all to learn and connect!

Very excited from hearing from anyone and everyone :)

Welcome aboard! You're in the right place and it sounds like you have a plan already (super important!) are you looking to invest in SoCal or out of state? Try and get together with some of the local REIAs and start networking!
