Hi everyone! My name is Ira Diwata, I'm 21 year old and active duty military. I wanted to get started on real estate investing. My current plan right now is to have my current house for rent (been living on it for a year) and find a duplex to move to, while renting the other half to a tenant. I'm working on my pre approved VA loan at the moment (I learned that active duty personnel are entitled to 530kish for VA Loan and I just used 169k on my first house, hence working on another VA loan for the next property). Not a lot of people my age talks about real estate investing, most of the time they would talk about cars/parties etc... so this forum is a true blessing!
