Hi, I just graduated from my medical residency and headed to start my attending Job soon.  I've been listening to real estate podcasts for 5-6 months now and read Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner, and The House Hacking Strategy by Craig Curelop.  I've been taking notes and now hoping to get out of the analysis phase wanted to introduce myself on this forum.

I plan to purchase a single-family home in the next 90 days to start House Hacking with STR for the next year and 6 months down the line start investing in rental properties.

I'm currently working with a lender to get pre-approved for a physician's loan, if there are any health professionals or those familiar with this on here would love to hear your experience/thoughts on this.  The no-down-payment down sounds very appealing to me even with a higher interest rate.

Anyway, I appreciate any advice you can give me and I look forward to learning and networking with the wonderful BiggerPockets community.

Thank you for your time.
