Hi everyone!

My name is Rob, I am new to the BP forums and I just wanted to say a quick hello.  I've been listening to the BP podcasts for awhile now and occasionally reading through some of the great posts and conversations on the forums.

I've been an "accidental landlord" since 2013 when my wife and I moved out of our first home to our current residence and (for a variety of reasons) we decided to rent the house out instead of selling. We've been self managing that property for the last 8 years with varying degrees of success. After a particularly difficult tenant experience I read Brandon's book "Managing Rental Properties" which had a significant impact on how I approached being a landlord.

Fast forward to today, I'm interested in expanding my portfolio in an intentional way and am currently working on analyzing deals and markets in central and southeastern Pennsylvania.  My initial research is focused on the towns of Phoenixville, Spring City, Pottstown, Reading, and Lancaster as well as several other small PA communities.

I'm hopeful that interacting on the BP forums will allow me to make some connections with like minded investors in my area.  Cheers!
