Hello from Richmond VA

Hello BiggerPockets community,

I'm a long time lurker, but I'm finally getting more active into investment related activity after relocating across the country.  I have been in the Portland, OR area for about 12 years and came to Richmond last October to let our child be closer to my family.  I've bitten the bullet and started working on wholesaling properties in the Richmond area, with two current goals in mind: I want to wholesale 15 properties before the end of 2022 and I want to buy and hold at least two properties locally with management in place in case we move back to Oregon (which is the plan right now).  I'm dedicated and motivated, and realize that this may or may not be ambitious depending on your perspective.  My short term goal is to get one property under contract by the end of September.

I'd love to meet other investors in the Richmond area (and perhaps in the Charlottesville or Shenandoah Valley areas as well, as that's closer to where my family is and existing social networks).  Look forward to joining the conversation!
