Is there a checklist that anyone can share for starting REI?

Question

I'm dipping my feet in the REI and want to build my long term financial freedom. Is there a REI checklist that I can reference or anyone can share? I take better action if there's one and if it includes links to resources, would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

This site is great if you are looking to invest into real estate, wholesaling, flipping, rentals, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, crypto, or tax and legal guidance. I’d suggest starting out by networking with as many other investors as possible and be an active participant in the forums.

If you haven’t already subscribed to the BiggerPockets podcasts, do that ASAP. Look for meet ups in your area (virtual), attend free webinars, start reading as much as possible on any and all topics related to investing and real estate. Use the forums to help you search for the answers to all of your questions. If you can’t find your answers, then create your own post!

@Wendy Joe I would suggest that you build one yourself. This will allow you to fully understand what you are doing and getting into.

A good start is a book called "Real Estate Finance and Investments Risks and Opportunities" by Linneman and Kirsch. 5th edition.
