Hi everyone,

My name is Kel and I am a new-ish member, long time lurker and podcast listener of BiggerPockets.

I'm a Licensed Realtor and Investor, and am looking to expand my knowledge and portfolio.

1. 🌎 Where you’re based + where you (hope to) invest

I'm from Austin (housing became too expensive) and am currently located in Katy, Texas and looking to invest in the surrounding areas but I'm open to out of state markets as well.

2. 💫 What your goals are with joining BiggerPockets (e.g. buy my first house hack)

I'm interested in networking with local operators in the area such as flippers and other types of investors.

3. 🤪 A fun fact about yourself:

Raised in the Philippines and Air Force veteran. I speak 3 languages!

My parents purchased a personal residence in Katy, TX.

New Houses(constructed after 2000) can be very affordable given the school districts, safety, age of home, etc.

I don't invest here but I can see it working for others.
