Hello from NYC

I have been browsing this wonderful website for a few months now and since I finally formed my LLC today its time to say Hello! I have been doing a lot of research about REI in general but am still trying to decide between rehabbing and flipping or rehabbing and renting. Getting started in the NYC area is certainly intimidating and I would love to touch base with other locals in the area. I am also looking for someone to mentor me, I have a very flexible work schedule and would be willing to exchange administrative or manual work hours in exchange. I'm really looking forward to being an active part of this community and have already learned so much as is.

Welcome to BP Nation Dionna. Congrats on getting started. I would advise/suggest you speak with a competent CPA or RE attorney regarding your entity structure. Forming one before you have goals or know which type of investments you want to go after is a tad premature.
