New looking to get started

Hi all,

I am new to real estate investing. I have done a lot of homework, listened to a ton of podcasts and even got my real estate license. I am from the Katy TX area and am looking to invest in the Houston and surrounding area. 

I am wanting to get into multi family or single family if multi family doesn’t work at this moment. 

Looking for anyone in the area that has any advice on the area or knows of any real estate meetups to try and start networking and get started. Looking forward to talking to y’all!!
