New to BP and excited!

Hi BiggerPockets community - I’m a soon-to-be investor and couldn’t be more excited to jump in. I’ve been in analysis paralysis for the past 8-10 months, but finally ready to dive in. A bit about myself:

I currently live in Seattle but will be relocating to NYC for work in March 2022.
My first property is going to be a STR in Scottsdale (I'm negotiating on two townhomes right now that will cash flow a bit for me - main goal is to get a STR that will cover all expenses + some, so I have my first retirement home early on!)

My second property is going to be a LTR, hopefully a duplex, in Northeast Ohio. Family is from there, and it will be the start to investing with my brother - should be an interesting ride. This one will kick off what will hopefully be more LTR rentals vs STR.

I have a realtor in Scottsdale and Cleveland, but if anyone has a CPA or lawyer in the areas they are obsessed with, any recommendations are welcome!

Looking forward to being part of the BP community, and thanks for all of the advice I’ve been reading the past few months, and in advance for all I’ll be asking for.
