MAKE IT HAPPEN (First Post)

Posted

Hello all!

This is my first post. I reside in NE Ohio and I’ve been a listener and follower of Bigger Pockets for quite a while, but just now created an account on the website. Recently just got back from a weeks long vacation where my family and I made a trip to Waco, TX for a couple days to visit the Chip and Joanna’s Silos (wife loves them of course!)

While walking around I felt so motivated. Understanding their start and seeing what The Gaines’ created is truly incredible. Then as I walked around I came across a banner inside one of the stores that read ‘Make It Happen.’ I am a huge believer in signs and at that moment I told myself I need to “make it happen.”

So while heading back at one of the rest stops I created an account on the website and joined the FB groups. I always heard on the BP Podcast and Rookie Podcast to join the forums and FB groups, so I FINALLY did that.

My first question would be how can I find a partner with cash and how can I approach them with this idea of fixing and flipping a home? In-depth sidenote - a few months back I did Refi my home and received $10,000 cash back. I am also an residential electrician with many contacts including a couple friends who are general contractors, a friend who is in HVAC, and close neighbor who owns a plumbing business. Construction-wise I am set, it is just the money putting down for a down payment and rehab.

I know this is a lengthy post but I trying to “make it happen.” So thank y’all and hope to hear back from a few of you!
