New member from Medford, Long Island
Hi everyone. My name is Trish Milward and I'm a new member from Medford, Long Island. I am new to REI and to social media in general but I know that to be successful I have to start networking, so here I am! My experience in real estate so far has been personal-- one co-op bought and sold, one house bought and sold and the purchase of the house I live in now. My husband is a carpenter and has done a great deal of improvements and additions on our home. I have a degree in Management from Hofstra but I've been a homemaker for the past 14 years or so. My sons are both in college now so I'm ready to jump into Real Estate Investing. I've just read "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" by Gary Keller and I'm almost done with "Flip: How to Find, Fix, and Sell Houses for Profit" by Rick Villani and Clay Davis. I think I'd like to focus on foreclosures and flips. I found BiggerPockets when I was doing a search on Real Estate Investor Clubs. Personally I enjoy travel, theater, fine dining, art, and gardening. I'm looking forward to success in investing so that I can continue to enjoy these things.
