MLS access for real estate assistant - Jacksonville, St Augustine

I read that you can hire an unlicensed assistant as a licensed associate in Florida so that the assistant can have access to the MLS.

How is that accomplished and how much does it cost?  Please share your experience if you have done this before.

I am going to call NEFAR tomorrow to get the skinny but was just curious to hear from the folks here on BP.  Thanks in advance!

Hello...my husband is an active realtor and I am a licensed assistant (I am voluntarily inactive with RE license) however he has an unlicensed assistant as well and we pay about $145/yr. We are with the Pinellas Realtor board.
