2 bedroom Single Families. Do they sell?

Question

Looking into real estate investing by way of flipping. Do 2 bedroom single family homes typically sell after you have rehabbed them? Or are 3 bedrooms a better bet?

@Angela Salvant, any agent will tell you that 3-bed homes are the most desirable houses. One approach is to look for 2-beds that are larger than normal and find a way to add a third bedroom. This is a great opportunity to add value.

2/2 will sell it just depends on the price point.  There is always a buyer for every price point.  Will it be harder to sell than a 3/2?  Yes, but if your analysis is correct and you can make money go for it.  I have purchased and rehabbed 2/2 and sold them.  It took longer and there were fewer buyers for it but I still made money.

Yes, 3 beds are the way to go. Most often if you can target both 3 bds and 2 bds that have over 1000 sq ft and find room to add a 3rd bedroom. As mentioned before it is a huge value add.

While I agree that 3/2 s are the best seller across the country, alot of people who raised families in larger homes are looking to downsize. 2/2s sell well.

Yes. Agree with @Jaysen Medhurst ! A 3/2 is the most sought after combo. However, if you can find a 2/2 with a den or anything that could function as a third bedroom (even without a closet), it can make a difference.

The other thing you can look for here in So Florida, is a 2/2 with a Florida Room that could be converted and brought under air and turn it into a third bedroom! Not as hard as you might think to find or to do!
