Investing In The Villages

Is anyone investing in The Villages right now? I'm seen a lot of information on The Villages but not anything about actual boots-on-the-ground investing. 

For instance - are people investing in The Villages proper - or rather buying properties in "Villages adjacent" locales like Wildwood, Ocala etc..
