Way over my head this time...

Steven Quinones
Posted

Today was my first online auction. I researched several properties in my local/near by county's. Got a list of 4 potential properties, I checked the county records, drove by the houses, compared the value of other homes in the area and contacted a title company to make sure there wasn't any outstanding liens on it. At the end of the day, I was far outclassed at the time of bidding. Financially I wasn't prepared to spend upwards of 50-100k for those properties. Example, property 1 opening bid was 20k, it closed at 198k. Back to the drawing board for next week. Just wanted to share my experience.

Good luck everyone!

@Steven Quinones

The experience you gained by doing the research and showing up is worth your time.  Now you have a realistic view of the process and the prices.

That is 100% better than the person who is sitting behind a keyboard playing fantasy real estate investor!

Keep up your hard work, keep learning and not being afraid to experience the process.

Good luck in your future investing journey!!!!
