Anyone purchased in Springhill, FL? Areas housing market is lower than most but shows a nice rice in the past couple years. Would love any feedback with numbers? Pros? Cons?

Great area for Newer investor vs starting in Tampa. House prices are lower and returns may be greater. You just always good do research.

I'm currently looking for more deals in this area as well.

Springhill is a great place to buy single family homes. You get your monies worth. Yes its far from tampa but hwy 19 is an easy way to get into clearwater beaches. I been investing in clearwater so if you have questions let me know. Rena

If you're looking at spring hill because the properties are cheaper than the tampa, Clearwater, St.petersburg area I would be cautious.  You can get solid place but it's incredibly far from everything Tampa has to offer thus, lowering the amount of people who could potentially be interested.

I agree with Jason. I used to live in Spring Hill and have flipped a couple of houses there. Over the years I have seen a huge boom in development. It is a little far for commuting to Tampa Bay area businesses but the expressway has helped. Also, from what I'm reading about the new work-from-home trend, thanks to covid, it might be less of an issue these days. Spring hill is a great place to to buy real estate and it was a hotter market back in 07/08 before the market went upside down.  It's a little rural but since the expressway has been revamped into Tampa it opens up a lot more traffic and options.  There are some area effected by sinkholes but you can pay for a report to have the ground checked.  I am in Clearwater/St.pete but have done a lot of business for REI in that area.
