Anyone have any good input on financing Single Family rental properties in Iowa?

The properties I have are in Cedar Rapids to be specific.

Love to hear everyone's story on this topic.

I would suggest a smaller sized community bank, or credit union.

I assume you already have a bank, check in with them first. They have your history; i.e., loan history, how you handle your checking (no overdrafts), average balances, etc.

Realtors can be a good source of information about banks/credit unions.

I'm not a fan of big banks. They want to sell me to death! One reason some people are buried in debt (banks and their cross sales ratio's)!

Just pick up the cell phone, and make some calls.

Good luck!
