Acquired duplex, now what?
Just a general, open-ended question I wanted to pose to those with much more knowledge than myself.
I own two single-family homes that I rent each room out of. I’m closing on my first duplex here shortly, and I’m curious what the first steps after acquiring a property are for some of you saltier investors. I’ve spent so much time learning how to run numbers and find good deals, but not so much about how to set up your property for success from the beginning.
